Exciting News from the GVMC Transportation Committee!

As a member of the GVMC Transportation Committee, I’m thrilled to share that we've received a new shipment of nonmotorized safety items, just in time for Halloween! To help ensure our community's safety during this festive season, we're offering bike lights, reflective snap bracelets, and reflective walking/jogging belts.

With Halloween just around the corner, these items are perfect for trunk or treat events or any other festive activities in your area. We’re also inviting local businesses and organizations to partner with us by serving as pickup locations for these essential safety items.

I secured 800 items for Cannon Township, and with the help of resident Wendy Hahn, we were able to split them between Lakes Elementary and Cannonsburg Elementary. If your organization or school is interested in receiving some of these items in the future, please let me know. We want to make sure our kids are visible and safe with bright, reflective gear.
