Cannon Township Welcomes Two New Trustees: Jessica Gutowski-Slaydon and Todd Olson

Cannon Township, April 2 – Cannon Township is pleased to announce the appointment of Jessica Gutowski-Slaydon and Todd Olson as the newest members of its board of trustees. Jessica and Todd bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to serving their community, stepping into the roles previously held by Joe Gavan and Terry Brod.
Todd Olson, a dedicated member of the Parks and Recreation Committee, will now chair that committee and serve as the trustee liaison, bridging the gap between the board and the committee. Similarly, Jessica Gutowski-Slaydon, who is committed to serving on the Planning Commission and the Invasive Species Committee, will also become the Planning Commission liaison. Terry Brod will continue to serve on the Planning Commission as well.
"It is a great honor for me to humbly serve the community I love,” said Todd. “It has been a dream of mine for many years. I hope in some small way I can make a difference for the residents of Cannon Township. I am excited to hit the ground running. The Parks and Recreation committee has many great projects in the works, and I am excited to share all of them with you. Thank you for this opportunity to serve as a Trustee."
Steve Grimm, Supervisor of Cannon Township, expressed his confidence in the new appointees, saying, "Jessica and Todd exemplify the qualities of leadership and dedication that are essential for serving our community. We're grateful for their willingness to step up and take on these important roles."

Grimm continued, "While Joe Gavan and Terry Brod have left big shoes to fill, I have every confidence that Jessica and Todd are up to the challenge. Their passion for our community and their proven track record of service make them excellent choices for these positions."
