Join Me at the Donut Dash: Supporting Our Police and Doubling the Impact!
As many of you know, our community holds a special place in my heart. In fact, I belong to two communities: my home in Cannon Township and my work community in Downtown Grand Rapids at Swift Printing, where I am proud to be a third-generation family member and the first female president. As I gear up for my 7th Donut Dash, I'm reminded that many of us commute to the city but live in Cannon, so I'm excited to share this incredibly fun event with you all. (which many of you already attend!)
This year is exceptionally thrilling as Swift Printing aims to make an even bigger impact in celebration of our 75th Anniversary. For every dollar raised at the event, Swift Printing has generously pledged to match donations up to $7,500! This means every dollar you donate will be doubled, amplifying your impact on essential resources and support for our police officers' foundation.
The Donut Dash perfectly embodies our community’s spirit: it's fun, family-friendly, and deeply supportive. Featuring a festive 5K run—or walk, if you prefer a more leisurely pace—while eating delicious paczki for Fat Tuesday and then dinner and drinks with a raffle at BroadLeaf Underground, the event promises an evening of joy and community bonding. It's an opportunity to meet neighbors, make new friends, and unite around a common goal of supporting those who ensure our safety.
I personally cannot wait to lace up my running shoes, grab a paczki or two, and enjoy the festivities with all of you. Events like these allow us to connect and build stronger, safer, and more supportive communities.
